BLUE BELL, Penn. - May 22, 2000 - PhoneFish.com, a leading provider of wireless Internet solutions, today announced they are joining the Phone.com(TM) Alliance Program as an application developer.

The PhoneFish.com application is designed to empower mobile phone subscribers to directly and instantly access their desktop POP3 client-based e-mail account using their mobile phones' built-in UP.Browser(TM) microbrowser from Phone.com. PhoneFish.com's debut service, PhoneFish(TM), is a fully functional, two-way wireless Internet solution designed for individuals and small- to medium-sized businesses to easily access their POP3 email away from the home or office with functionality similar to a desktop email client. Through Phone.com's Alliance Program, PhoneFish will be able to provide subscribers seamless access to read, send, reply, copy, delete and forward e-mail messages from their Web-enabled phones using their existing desktop email addresses.

"We look forward to working closely with Phone.com to introduce a new application that will change the way individuals access their e-mail while away from their homes or offices. PhoneFish is the best alternative to web-based e-mail solutions as it provides feature-rich functionality and ease-of-use without having to change established e-mail addresses," said Ed Dempsey, president of PhoneFish.com. "The power of Phone.com's unique microbrowser interface together with PhoneFish, fills a growing need in the marketplace and allows people to seamlessly communicate while maintaining their mobile lifestyle."

"PhoneFish.com's expertise in the e-mail and wireless Internet marketplace will enable carriers utilizing the UP.Link(TM) Platform to offer their subscribers e-mail access anytime, anywhere."

The Phone.com Alliance Program has two aims: to promote the concept of wireless information access, and to coordinate the exchange of ideas and information among Alliance Program members, other companies developing wireless Internet products and services, and Phone.com's network operators.
